Awarding
a master licence the VIP way...
The following 12 photographs and text illustrate the 3-months it took
for
Edwin van der Hel and VIP Bin Cleaning to meet, agree and prepare the business
for launch in Belgium.
The first step is to introduce yourself to VIP Bin Cleaning this
can be achieved simply by replying with your details via the enquiries
page. On this occasion, after only a few telephone calls
had been made Edwin accepted VIP's offer to
visit them at their head office
in the
UK.

Head Office in Wymondham, Norfolk.
Photo 2: Edwin explains to Mark the business potential
in Belgium and also shows the amount of work he has already put
in place to establish his own bin cleaning business.
Photo 3: Mark explains the benefits of launching
the business under the established brand of VIP Bin Cleaning.
After this meeting it was agreed that Edwin had to decide whether
he thought it best to launch independently, or if it was to his
advantage to follow the VIP business model and become their master
licence holder for Belgium.
As far as VIP were concerned they had to decide
whether launching into Belgium was a viable proposition, especially
with the potential difficulties of it being a non-English speaking
country, and to see if Edwin would make a suitable master licence
holder.
Following this meeting Mark visited Edwin in Belgium where they
spent time together understanding the local marketplace and getting
to know each other. The outcome of this visit was agreement that
the concept would be viable in Belgium and it was in both their
interests to join forces and launch the business under the VIP
brand.
Photo 4: Once agreement had been reached and all
legal requirements had been completed, Edwin returns to the UK
to sign the VIP master licence agreement for Belgium with Mark,
and
commence his intensive training programme.
Photo 5: Edwin is introduced to various members
of the VIP Network Support team, some of whom he will be meeting
for the first time.
Photo 6: Classroom training begins – this
incorporates all aspects of the business, including: marketing,
accounts, route planning, working with local authorities, health
and safety, licences and regulations, brand and corporate image,
and anything else that is needed to ensure Edwin is fully equipped
and conversant to operate the VIP business and franchise model.
